Stopped at a stopsign the other night. Swith is int he correct position I verified via the manual. The lights normally go out as supposed to but the somewhere along the line just come back on later maybe go off again if they feel like it or they can stay on.

Find the receiver under the driver side knee bolster and unplug it. Have you visually verified your headlights are on during the day or are you assuming they are because the dash lights stay on. This will turn the light on and off. Yespull them slowly and carefullyif the switches are the original design they will probably come out in pieces and the pigtail will get stuck inside the dashfound that out the hard way on my 99 tahoe and spent 30 minutes trying to use a coat hanger to.
