1995 Jeep Cherokee Interior Lights Wont Turn Off. Interior lights wont turn off interior lights won t turn off on my interior lights wont turn off interior lights wont turn off. However an Issue that I am having is just recently my Interior lights wont turn off even when all of my doors are shut.
When set to the correct mode the interior lights will operate from a door operated switch so if the switch has failed the lights will either stay on or not operate at all when you open and close the door. To protect the battery the interior lights will turn off automatically 10 minutes after the ignition switch is moved to the LOCK position. Today I disconnected the winch and lights from the battery then put the fuse back in.
It may have gotten bumped accidentally by a passenger valet or car wash employee.
I pulled fuse under hood all interior lights off. I believe its the door sensor thats not working. Check the switch to make sure it is not turned all the way toconstant onif that doesnt do it check dome lightsthey may have been left on. The power windows work.
